Situated in Artigues-près-Bordeaux, in a historic building, 8.9 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge, Château Fleur D'Aya is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a terrace and shared lounge. We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.

Providing free WiFi, a sun terrace with a swimming pool, water sports facilities and massage services, Le Château Réal is located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne. Absolutely wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is beautiful, and the hosts are so nice. We rented a car in Bordeaux and drove up, which was easy but takes about an hour. Make sure to book things in advance (winery tours, visit to the lighthouse, dinner). There is a small dinner offered at the chateau for a price as well as wine.

Château Haut-Clarise is located in Belvès-de-Castillon and features a private pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The on-site pool was refreshing and lovely. Breakfast was served on the terrace just above the pool with a fabulous view of the valley. The rooms were fantastic and exceptionally clean. We stayed in three of the rooms, I’m sure the fourth one was equally wonderful. We had arrived by bicycle with no car. Our hosts were wonderful in giving us a ride to a local restaurant.
