Communication with staff worked out fine via whatsapp. Cozy fireplace inside made a great atmosphere in the evenings and electric radiators heated up the place over nights. Kitchen has everything you need for a good cooking. There's even a picnic basket with all the cutlery and stuff. Great worth of money.

This former barn on La Gomera Island has been converted into fully-equipped, bright and spacious country cottages. Casa Rural Maria offers sweeping views over the Hermigua Beach and Mount Teide volcano in Tenerife. The hosts were simply amazing. I got the cottage as a present for my mother's birthday and the hosts were so incredibly generous as to decorate the whole place with balloons and flowers, get a birthday cake and a bottle of wine! That are the most caring people I could ever imagine... Melted my heart! And my mum loved her stay and the incredible peacefulness of the place.

The location was perfect for us to use a base for a week to access the amazing hiking on the island. There is also parking just down the hill a bit from the property. It was great to have a smart TV and be able to watch Netflix some evenings! Also, I left my wash bag in the property and realised when we arrived on Tenerife but I contacted the host and they arranged to have the bag delivered to me at the port which was really good of them.

The big and spacious house, the garden around the house , pool area ...and the nice family that owns this house. So pleasant and helpful. We had eleven wonderful days here.
