It would have been difficult to have been treated better and almost impossible to find a more relaxing location with breathtaking views. The hosts were perfect; available on the phone at any time and quick to respond to any messages. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and indeed we have taken away a good few ideas for a property we are renovating (thank you Meli). We stayed for four nights and wish it had been longer; the area is one of truly astounding natural beauty and is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The village itself is very pretty and the locals equally welcoming and happy to chat. One can walk from the property to local restaurants which provide wholesome economical food and a warm welcome. We have lived in a very beautiful part of the Mediterranean Coast of Spain for over 20 years in one of the most scenic valleys imaginable, or at least we thought so until we came to sample the delights of this gorgeous village in the Cantabrian mountains with fields of freely roaming livestock all around and the backdrop of awe inspiring mountains with free flowing rivers and streams with pretty cascading falls all within pretty easy walking distance, albeit up and down hill. Parking was super simple in a private spot right beside the property, but not such that your car blocks the view. We visited the coast whilst we were there which is around 40 minutes by car through sensibly wide mountain roads (windy, but easy to drive) and also took a trip to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim (just over an hour), but it was lovely to pop to the local "supermarket" (corner shop) and buy some bits to enjoy a picnic.

Grillimisvõimaluse ja mäevaatega Camino de la Torre - Ruralsoba asub Quintana de Sobas, 60 km kaugusel Santanderist. Collados del Asóni looduspark asub 2,5 km kaugusel. Nice location with own parking and entrance. Very friendly and helpful owner.

LA CABAÑA pakub majutust Cillorigo de Liebanas, 31 km kaugusel Llanesist. Külaliste käsutuses on privaatne aed koos grillimisvahenditega. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. It's a comfortable apartment - not huge, but cosy. Ojedo is small, but there's a nice place just down the hill - for a drink and/or something to eat. We had a nice time staying here for 4 days. The owner us right up the street - in case you need anything.

The attention and care are outstanding by all personnel, managers and workers. The country house is a sweet little dream. The rooms are pristine and what you could dream from a rural house.

The host Joaquin was very welcoming and informative, the grounds were beautiful with fruit trees - perfect for relaxing in the very hot weather

Maamajas on lameekraaniga televiisor ning privaatne vannituba, kus on föön, tasuta tualetitarbed ja bidee. we were treated so kindly with a true welcoming. during our entire stay the hostess never stopped helping us from hot tea to a space for our evening meal to researching bus schedules and providing correct change for our ride. and breakfast was multi course and culminated with hot tender croissants and a cake made by our hostess. near the Camino

Maalilise asukohaga võluvas maamajas on välibassein ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Hotell asub Secaduras, Kantaabria ranniku randadest 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Perfect location for a country hotel, staff treat you like family and the food was lovely. Will be back!
