This is a superb property and the owner met us on arrival. We were impressed by the facilities and of course the pool. There is something for everyone at the house and plenty of room to get away from each other too (if that's what you want). Great location and not far from Porto. Brilliant!

The tranquility and peacefulness of the area…and all the surroundings. Resuming, all of what it had to offer, exterior and interior! The kids also loved their little area on the outside.

Everything. The owner/host lady welcomed us with the best smile and showed us around. The place is just amazing. Everything looks antique (because it is antique) but in a beautiful way. The breakfast is just great. The lady prepares a big meal, from salty to sweet. You could just eat this for the whole day. Room was super clean!! The location is in a small village where everybody was curious about us, but happy to talk, even if without english...and the village is in the middle of beautiful nature, close to a stunning national park. -bonus note for animal lovers: in the place there are several animals. The ones you will see more often are 2 nice dogs. When we went for a walk in the village, one of them came with us all the way, as it was showing around.

Such a beautiful place, the host has taken great care to make the place super welcoming, comfortable, cozy and clean. The breakfast was gorgeous and yummy. The pool and lounge chairs are relaxing. Such an oasis in a mountainous area of Portugal. Ana has created so many cozy reading nooks. It's truly a special window into the old world.

This house is a very special place, beautifully designed, very clean, has everything you'd need. It is very big, with a garden and pool. The owners were very kind and helpful with everything. There is a beautiful path going down to the river nearby, just a few meters away from the house.
