Our hosts were warm and kind. Our anniversary dinners was yummy and Francisco and Christina made it so special. Papi and Pipa were so much fun! The views were beyond beautiful! We loved the tour of the wine making process, complete with chocolates and tastes. Did we mention the warm bread Francisco brought each morning? Cidalia and her son were outstanding, warm hosts, and showed real care towards me and my friend. It didn’t feel like we’re staying in a hotel, as much as going to visit close family. They went above and beyond to meet our requests, and have a wealth of knowledge about the region, history and gave us very detailed and practical recommendations. The views from the room were gorgeous, overlooking the river and rolling hills of vineyards. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast- the son represented Portugal in competition for young chefs. It’s a feast for senses.
