Highly recommend. Everything is spotlessly clean and the kitchen and bathroom well-equipped! The staff is warm and helpful. There are friendly goats and sheep in paddocks around the property—even the geese were friendly.

It was a beautiful hotel. The room was well done with comfortable beds, linens, lots of wood and tile, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool and farm land. The breakfast was great with made to order eggs and breads and cheese, yogurts, etc. There were also many good restaurants in Portalegre nearby.

Located in a beautiful country side, surrounded by nature is great location to hike or bike. It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

A very nice and modern house, with high quality furniture and equipment. It is a bit outside of the next village, so perfect, if you want it quite and lonely. Everyday we received fresh bread for breakfast and the fridge was filled up with everything you need.

All appeared to be very new and good quality. Very comfortable bed, very good breakfast. Very beautiful balcony and surroundings. Extremely kind hosts, very supportive and helpful and available with anything. Ideal place to visit all the area (car most likely needed though). Much better than what we expected based on the pictures of the web! Thanks for everything!

The host went above and beyond to insure that we were extremely happy with the choice of room. We went to celebrate a birthday and she went the extra mile to make it special for him. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the room, the house and property. Helena is an artist with exquisite taste and you can see that reflected in everything she does. She is kind, warm and generous. The breakfast feast is amazing. So many choices even for us vegetarians. The shower was lovely, incredibly hot. The bed was so comfortable and extra large, the biggest bed I've ever seen. Our dogs were kindly welcomed and they enjoyed their vacation. The views on the property will take your breath away. We will definitely be back soon!

I liked the decorations and how the room’s layouts. I also liked the size of the apartment and the fact that it had central heating
