We stayed here for two nights and would do it again in a heartbeat. Super cosy place with amazing views over the river and you can watch the view from the pool as well. Everyone there are friendly and the family style dinner was a cute concept. Breakfast was quite simple but sufficient! Our room was very clean and cosy! Perfect place for relaxation and visiting wineries. We didn’t have a car with us, but it was very easy to travel around to the wineries and train station with a taxi (around 10e) and the staff will help you book the taxi :)

Our hosts were warm and kind. Our anniversary dinners was yummy and Francisco and Christina made it so special. Papi and Pipa were so much fun! The views were beyond beautiful! We loved the tour of the wine making process, complete with chocolates and tastes. Did we mention the warm bread Francisco brought each morning? We felt pampered and relaxed- the very best ending to our month in Portugal!! 10 stars!!!

Cidalia and her son were outstanding, warm hosts, and showed real care towards me and my friend. It didn’t feel like we’re staying in a hotel, as much as going to visit close family. They went above and beyond to meet our requests, and have a wealth of knowledge about the region, history and gave us very detailed and practical recommendations. The views from the room were gorgeous, overlooking the river and rolling hills of vineyards. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast- the son represented Portugal in competition for young chefs. It’s a feast for senses.
