In short, this was the best accommodation we experienced in our ten year family holiday history in this country! Located in the hills above the wine yards with a breathtaking view (even when swimming in the pool!) over Setubal peninsula to Lisbon and Sintra. The rooms are large, feature modern equipment, comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms. The common use kitchen is large and has absolutely everything you need for cooking. The fridges are regularly filled by the owners with water, beer, wine and you will find more … This brings me to owners and managers Miguel and joaquim. We never felt as guests but rather their friends or even visiting relatives. Extremely friendly, kind, caring and welcoming. Many thanks to you and the team in Restaurante Dona Isilda.

Absolutely delightful little cottage in a typical small community. Well equipped and perfect for a few days stay in Palmela. Charming and welcoming host. Nice gift of local cheese and wine. Lots to see locally, particularly the castle, but there's plenty more in a short distance. Gòd local shops and eateries, and all the main brands within a couple of kilometres. We loved it.

The location and premises were excellent with great views. Close access to countryside, town & bus station. Lovely walk along the adjacent ridge track. Quiet and private.

Chalé do Vale is a small oasis in the middle of the desert, very well thought out and designed, the owner's friendliness was spectacular. The mini studio had everything in the right place, the decoration, cleanliness throughout the area, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom were very good, it was impossible to find negative points. I recommend.
