We went for a bicycle ride, and couldn´t ask for better. Close from the trails, so close you could just pedal and get there in 15 minutes. The weather was amazing, some rain and sunny days. There´s a spot to wash your bike, and storage safely. If you have luck, you´ll have a trail dog for the day riding. :D There´s a kind of beach in the river near by, you can get there by walking. And the restaurant in front was a great surprise. If you want to go to Terras de Bouro for riding, no shuttles, this is the place to be. Did i mention the trails were sick? Great work from Gomes and all the Trail Building team.

Such an oasis in a mountainous area of Portugal. Ana has created so many cozy reading nooks. It's truly a special window into the old world.

Fully equipped kitchen. Big outside area with view of the lake and barbeque. The hosts are very friendly, they welcomed us upon arrival and even put some products for a breakfast in the fridge. Walking distance to the lake beach and 30 minutes from the Peneda Geresh.

The son of the owners traveled a lot and gave us two very good routes to visit around Geres, with a great restaurant recommendation. The room was big and clean, local cafe was lovely as well, did their best, even cooking eggs outside of menu to tend to our morning protein needs before hiking, very good vibe all around. I felt very positive energy around me . The short conversations with the manager and staff made me feel very welcome and at home. Lot of kindness and love around and in the end that's what traveling is all about. The only thing I would change is make the big terrace area common for everyone in the property to enjoy together. Super clean and comfortable, very spacious and with a lovely view of the mountains even from the bedrooms. A well equipped kitchen is really useful for cooking for yourself with a nice big balcony and table outside to eat and enjoy the view. Literally opposite the hiking trail head if you want to go into the mountains and right by the bus stop that comes from Braga. Very quiet area can sleep like an angel.
