We had a beautifull stay in Solar Pontes. The staff where very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional! The host Bea where very helpful she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, she even shared some of her mom's cakes recipes which where jammy! 😍 I highly recommend this place! Gem of a place! We loved the house, the gardens and the facilities. The view of the ocean from the house was exceptional. The garden was unique and beautiful, the perfect place to relax after a day of hikes and tourist activities. The host was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to provide information and tourist activities. The house is a short drive from most Sao Miguel attractions. This is a very special place and our experience was unforgettable.

What a beautiful home to spend a vacation! The gardens are fantastic and the pool is a pleasant bonus! We woke every morning to the sounds of birds and the nearby cows! The location was 100% peaceful tranquility. And, Helena was such a welcoming host!

It is a wonderful traditional house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Three bedrooms are double beds, two twin beds. There are three floors. Ground floor one bedrrom, middle one bedroom , kitchen, garden and a huge living and dining room. Third floor 3 bedrooms. It is more a chateua than a house, the kitchen and living room are amazing with lots of china, glasses, evrything is very elegant. Garden and grill, banana trees outside. Great for a family gathering or a big group of friends like us. Small shop and cafe next door.

It's awesome. Quiet and beautiful. Large rooms and very kind owners. Super breakfast overlooking the swimming pool and the hills. I wish I had booked the entire week there. The images are not as good as the place really is.

The property is very well maintained, apartments are roomy and welcoming, each having a modern kitchen. You can see the ocean from the pool/barbeque common area.

We loved everything about our stay! We were staying in the appartement up the hill a little further from the pool but oh so quiet at night! The kitchen was well equipped The bed was also very comfy The highlight of our stay was Ginga the dog and the cats!!!💕❤️💕
