The staff was extremely helpful and they even arranged an extra bed for a friend of ours as we were going to a wedding. The house is absolutely fantastic, the view from our room was magnificent, you could see the wines, palm trees and the pool and the atmosphere was really nostalgic. The next morning the staff had set our table outside by the pool for breakfast and we enjoyed the homemade bread and a dip in the pool after. I would certainly recommend staying at Casa do Ribeiro.

Also thanks to the owners of the little grocery 100 metres away who took the time to tell us all about the wine in the region and even offered us a bottle from their private stock! We were delighted and touched. Be sure to visit the vineyard that’s Solar das Bouças, just a 15-minute walk away.
