Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports.

Once home to Sicilian nobles, Villa Trigona’s elegant rooms and lounges still contain antiques. Rooms have lovely countryside views and on site you will find a lounge with an old fireplace, a small library and a TV room.

Everything. Moreoverl orange in the garden.

Situated within 37 km of Sicilia Outlet Village and 6.9 km of Villa Romana del Casale, La Casa Rossa Country House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Piazza Armerina. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also welcomes guests with a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

We actually booked here but ended up staying down the road at the owner's father's guest house - la Casa Sulla Collina D'Oro. It was great - wonderful views of the Cathedral, a plentiful sweet and savoury breakfast, quiet room, housekeeping and parking on the property. The two properties seem to tag team and deal with spillovers from one to the other. Our host Luciano was kind and generous. You do need a car as it is about 2km from town but with safe parking at the guest house and free parking right by the old town it was one of our easiest Sicilian road trip stops.

Set in the Erean Mountains, Torre di Renda is 5 minutes' drive from the Cathedral in Piazza Armerina. It features a garden with swimming pool and children's playground and woods for walks.

Torre di Renda has free parking. It is 10 minutes' from Villa Romana del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring a large collection of Roman mosaics. The nearest beach is in Gela, 45 km away.

The breakfast was a lovely buffet. We also ate dinner there each night.

Breakfast was good plenty an home made as expected in a b&b. This b&b is situated in a what I believe to be a typical Sicilian country house. The hostes is very friendly and the hospitality can not be questioned. Rooms are spacey and bed is big and comfortable. Even at a countryside style we were very close to city centre.

Very comfortable bed and settee. Really good shower and bathroom generally. Swimming pool. Wonderfully quiet location. Apart from Roberto and Sandra living above, you are the only tenants. What you see in the images is all your apartment. You are close enough for all the amenities and sites (villa Romana and Morgantina), but so peaceful and cool. A lot of basic items provided, such as butter.

The location was excellent! The house is surrounded by countryside, but only 5 miles from Piazza Armerina for shopping. We loved the location and the fruit and vegetables that are grown on site, including the prickly pears 🍐! Our hosts were friendly and helpful and provided a great breakfast for a small additional fee. Would strongly recommend this place for travellers that want a peaceful, relaxing holiday with great hosts.

The view from Torre di Renda is beautiful. Enjoyed our early morning walks in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a parking area within their premises too.

The property is very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful pool. It’s a family farm that is over 300 years old. Beds are very comfy, bathrooms are lovely, the rooms are quirky and have lots of stylish touches. The food comes from the farm, so everything is fresh. We went with two kids aged 11 and 14 and we all loved it. It would also be a romantic place for a couple.
