Everything was just better than we expected. The property is gorgeous, very carefully taken care of, quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there on our first night and the food was simple and authentic, very tasty and well made. We stayed in the house that was closest to the pool, the perfect place for a stay in the middle of the summer with the kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Masseria 30 Mogge. The Masseria is even more beautiful in real life than the pictures and Sonia and Bartolo were exceptional hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful with recommendations for local beaches and restaurants as well as ensuring our 2 year old was always happy! As much as we loved Salento, some of the highlights from our trip were at the Masseria, such as making Orecchiette and a lovely BBQ dinner with fellow guests. It was like staying with an Italian family but with all of the comforts, luxuries and privacy of a hotel as well.

We loved about the property the well maintained common areas and the beautiful garden with the small but refreshing swimming pool that is equipped with hydro massage. The terrace where to take the sun after a refreshing bath was also really enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned, large, and with everything needed. We particularly appreciated the simple but at the same time elegant and authentic Salentinian style of the rooms, that made the overall stay really unique. Finally, you can really appreciate the history of the place, and its beautiful “granai”. Special thanks to the owners Tommaso and Renata that made our stay authentic and were always there for a nice talk and to suggest new places and restaurant to explore.

Elvi and Giorgio are perfect hosts... even their dogie Joey is a sweetheart. Excellent breakfast with local fruits and veggies as well as meats, coffee, tea and juices. Local restaurants are excellent and within a 10 minute drive or less. Beach is 20 minutes away and they're nice beaches. This masseria is an active farm with olives, vegetables and fruits being grown. The area is known for it's low humidity so it's very comfortable. Highly recommended.

We liked the modern furnished room with the terrace and beautiful surroundings. The nice gesture at our arrival was that the owner (daughter) offered as an aperitif and she also gave us small presents (home-made bread - something like rolled grissini). The owners did not speak English, but the friend of the daughter arrived and helped with the translation. They also helped us a lot to find the premises (since we had some problems with the car navigation).

I liked being in the real italy with small little towns all around . Also, the abundence of family owned restuarants in the area which are non touristic.Lastly, breakfast was abundant and included a huge mix fresh fruit plate which i put in the room fridge and ate it as a snack after lunch.

The family of the masseria that leaves close by is very welcoming and extremely helpful. It felt like home instantly. It is a very peaceful location with nature all around it. Having a car is highly recommended.
