The beautiful farmhouse near Barga was stunning. It was very peaceful, the room was was traditional and comfortable. The couple that own the structure are lovely people, they were very helpful when we had an issue with our rental car, they provided a lovely breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a quiet village but with its charm. it’s actually within a group of 5 houses, with the lovely landlady Desy living in one of them, ready to offer us assistance anytime. The gardens and the shared swimming pool are also very well kept.

The landscape invites for hiking and biking. Lucca is just around the corner. The house itself is almost 300 years old and renewed with the latest and perfectly matching equipment. A place to stay for long, and to recommend to my best friends and relatives.
