Idilic atmosphere, gorgeous views, historical building, delicious food. We spent three day at Tenuta Mocajo and it was amazing. The staff was so welcoming and nice that they make you feel like you are visiting a friend and not a hotel. The pool area is nice and much-needed given the July heat. The restaurant terrace is stunning. The property is not crowded and you rarely have many people around you — ideal for reading and relaxing. I can definitely recommend Tenuta Mocajo and hope to be back one day.

Valentino has created a beautiful, welcoming place to stay, and he is a warm and generous host. We will have to go back to enjoy the lovely pool and sundeck with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside.

From the large bedrooms, there were picturesque views across a valley of olive groves. The apartment had a large dining table to gather around and a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge dining area looked directly onto the small foot street but had curtains to provide privacy. The village car park was relatively close.

It is calm, the view above the countryside (on good days the sea) is amazing and had the chance to take part in the Tuesday evening dinner cooked by Simonetta and Carla - so tasty and really authentic. Prepare some Italian vocabulary for your stay & bring insect repellant for the mosquitos in summer :) A rental car is recommended, the beach and different midevial cities are just a couple of minutes away.

It is a lovely Bed & Breakfast in the town centre of Casale Marittimo. The room we got (number 4) was very large, clean, quiet and with a beautiful view on the surrounding estates. Breakfast was good and on the sweet side. There was a fan we could move around ourselves. The public car park is within walking distance. We checked in late, around midnight, and the owner gave us instructions to pick up they keys by ourselves which was very considerate.
