Wow. We didn't know what to expect going into a less touristed region of the island. Come to find out, Marco and Johanne have created a home away from home and this was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Their hospitality — from recommendations to nightly meals — was everything we dreamt up for our holidays. We felt like we were part of the family. The property itself is gorgeous, full of history, and well-preserved. The dinners were abundant (come hungry!), authentic (thanks Paola!), and simply delicious. And the location offered a perfect respite from the touristy regions of Sardinia. If you want a relaxing and remote getaway, we could not recommend La Quercia, Arbus enough :)

Literally, we liked everything! The people were amazing! Stefano, Mama Pina, Patricia, Graciela, Isa were all so friendly and wonderful to interact with even with the language barrier. The property was clean, the whole area was nice and quiet, the dinner and breakfast were exquisite. The breakfast consisted of homemade yogurt, homemade sweetbreads, homemade jams/marmelades, and homemade pastries; each one was delightful! The dinners were 35 Euro and worth every cent! It was all home cooked by Mama Pina and the team; my wife and I literally could not finish everything for the three nights we had dinner there.I would highly recommend a rental car (that is what we used) as the beach access is approximately 20 to 30 minutes away depending on the beach you want to visit; all of the beaches were amazing. If you are looking for a family experience, a quite place, and a nice slow pace then this is definitely the place! Seriously, it was above and beyond what we expected. They are amazing people at Rock Bianche! I would recommend it to my family.

This is simply one of the best Agriturismi we have ever booked. Wonderful location, beautiful rooms, great swimming pool with panomaric view and extraordinary delicious food. Welcome and service were also first class.

So L'Aquila farm is exactly what we expected - simple, quiet and lovely. William and his family were good host. Farm dinner tasted good and abundant. By the way, one has to inform William in advance that they are dining at their place for them to prepare food. (But it seems a general practice in farm stays in Sardinia.)

Location is very nice and peaceful; the room is very clean and it was great to spend some time in the garden and relax. Also a very good location to visit the Montevecchio miniera, Piscinas, Antas, Capo Pecora,... Food was also amazing (both breakfast and dinner) with lots of vegetables coming from their own garden. Arbus is well located for exploring the beautiful Costa Verde - highly recommended if you are looking for quiet sandy beaches not full of tourists (mid September)
