A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals. It's definitely a home away from home. Breakfast tasty display. Shower/ toilets downstairs, upstairs room with magnificent views. Peaceful quiet

The hot tub was such a great way to end the day of exploring the Icelandic countryside. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fireplace was cozy. The beds were dreamy. Truly the best place I have ever stayed. I wish we could have spent more time.

Lovely location outside Reykholt - great for hiking, access to glacier, waterfalls, museums around Rekholt, geothermal springs. Great common space with lots of atmosphere and spaces to sit, play games, have coffee or a glass of wine. Delicious meals served for dinner and breakfast buffet and coffee were perfect. Can’t go past the staff who go above and beyond to help out. LOVED our stay here. Didn’t want to leave.

A cosy little cottage in the middle of nature. Quiet and peaceful location. Also a really good place to see the northern lights (i was lucky and could watch the spectacular light show on the first evening - amazing!). I really enjoyed my stay.

Hostess was very kind and generous with her time talking with us. The breakfast was very good and the kitchen was very bright, clean, and accessible. We also happily prepared dinner for ourselves there. The grounds were lovely - very nice views of a quiet and peaceful place. Excellent hiking nearby with a beautiful waterfall.
