The quiet and remote countryside location, view of the mountains, close to the fjord and beach. The property and staff are wonderful. I would stay here again the next time I visit the Westfjords.

Great location with mountain views and very quiet. Has a hot tub and small beach by the Fjord. Has a big lounge area with comfortable seating and a big breakfast room. Breakfast was continental with a good choice. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a mountain view. The bathroom / shower was good. Great location for Northern lights if the conditions are right.

We loved the location in the countryside. Our room, though smallish, was perfectly comfortable and was big enough for an armchair in addition to the desk chair. My husband enjoyed his bicycle trip to a most unusual sand beach. We never met the owner but the couple staffing the inn were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful.

We loved the trouble taken with the historic decor and that the family that lived there are still involved and able to tell their stories. We loved that the place is located in a quiet little town, away but within easy reach of the busier centre.

The guesthouse is located in the countryside and it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was well decorated and was just right for two people. Dinner and breakfast were very good and the highlight for us was the hot tub in the woods with a mountain view.

it is sooo charming! beautiful place with a real soul. a nice living room to chill in the evening. Great breakfast! Quietness around. close to a super cool place to eat out (Vagninn). bathroom are shared but nice bathtub and good shower (2 bathrooms for 3 bedrooms so really good ratio). The owner receives you nicely with small chocolates, he takes the time to show you around and lets you know about the family history.

Great host, fantastic view outside and the place is full of charm and history. The town is small and quiet which is great to rest after a long day in the fjords.
