We were so glad that we were embraced by the warm welcome of the hosts in this guesthouse. We had to check in early due to an unexpected storm. The hosts were very understanding and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the guesthouse was well-equipped with everything we need. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The best part was that we were rewarded with the beautiful view of the snow mountains when we drove out of the accomms after being stuck indoors due to the storm.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a nice terrace and big windows overlooking a fjord. Keys are stored in a key box for which we got the code the day before arrival and can be left in the apartment when leaving so you don't need to formally check out. Very quiet location; we enjoyed walking from the apartment along the fjord and saw lots of birds and seals.

We stayed for the 1 night and wished we had stayed longer! It is a great location along road 1, which was perfect for us as we were travelling around Iceland. The location is peaceful and tranquil, considering you are just off of the main road, you wouldn't know, it was silent. We would definitely stay here again, and we would recommend anyone to stay here if they can. Very comfortable, clean, stylish and peaceful.
