The location of Hook House is excellent, easy to reach public transportation, great parking lot. We loved our room and breakfast was very tasty and served in style. All in all definitely an experience to be repeated regularly!

Ample parking and extensive grounds for a morning walk. Quiet, warm room and comfortable bed on a cold night. Well appointed and very clean single room and ensuite. Ample, no-nonsense breakfast in a pleasant dining room with a friendly host. Very nice staff at the front desk. Amazing value. A real find.

The hotel has spacious grounds, is quiet, well located and comfortable with nicely decorated rooms. I had an upstairs front facing double of good size, and was warm, with en suite. Ample car parking to the side, pleasant surroundings, helpful staff and good amenities. Would use again.

It's like going to a home from home (if your home was a grand mansion with staff) and they fall over themselves to pamper you and make you feel special. It's a real gem. Unpretentious, no influencers, cosy but extremely luxurious at the same time. Special mention to Lena in the reception, Richard in the lounge, and Wieskewa (so sorry if this is spelt wrong) who served us at breakfast and told us how much she loved the ducks.
