With a car park, central station and St Enoch subway no more than a couple of minutes walk away. We were worried it would be noisy but it was really quiet. The hotel aesthetic is also great, the main reception and bar area looks like a luxury hotel, the rooms are nice and the staff are excellent. Also the later than usual 12pm check out was nice.

Very quiet apart from 1-2 hours in the evening when there is a gig on next door but that finishes early so doesn't disturb sleep. Even then it's not overwhelming. Definitely more restful than a hotel overall. Just be aware there is no lift as it's a listed building but just request a room on the ground floor. My new favourite place in Glasgow. Don't expect luxury. Do expect quirky value for money. Just lovely if you appreciate good value, friendly staff and great location. Not so good for peeps who want modern soulessness. Water in rooms not potable ( ancient pipes?) Beds a bit small but fine. Very quiet when we stayed. Located amidst million pound properties. Terrific place.
