There's good parking and the grounds have a pond, pet cemetery and lovely views. The restaurant Hiraeth is excellent and would thoroughly recommend it. There is a bar downstairs and a TV room. Intended to explore Bridgend and Porthcawl, so it was very convenient to get there from the hotel. There was an excellent restaurant, El Prado nearby, that was easy to get to. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was really warm, and the box of tissues was helpful as I had a bit of a cold! Family room was huge with a comfy, big enough bed for 3 adult’s, and plenty of space for the single bed too. Superb hot rainfall shower. Heating was adjustable easily within the room. Excellent cleanliness and decaf tea as well as coffee. Breakfast was inexpensive, arrived promptly and was tasty. We found it very quiet overnight as it’s not on a Main Street so no traffic noise & we had no people being antisocial outside. We had a really pleasant stay.
