Our stay at High Grassings, Lake District Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of magical. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Nice building and rooms, rooms are big and spacious. Good heating is provided in both the bedroom and bathroom. A very good breakfast was provided and the portion was big. The surroundings of the hotel and the views are very beautiful, very quiet at night. The manager Tom is very good and helpful. Highly recommend this guest house which is totally different from other hotels.

Everything you could possibly need was provided from robes to cutlery to firewood. The value for money was amazing and it felt like such a personal and luxurious stay! Will definitely be recommending and returning!
