The hotel was excellent, stylishly decorated and situated in the really pretty village of Amberley. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant, the food was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting Arundel and the surrounding countryside. We would thoroughly recommend the Black Horse!

It turned out to be one of the best places I've ever stayed. When I arrived they had not long stopped serving food (on a Sunday, when it's really popular and busy) but they checked me in and sorted me out with some food! Everyone was ridiculously friendly and helpful, the Roast Dinner was insane! Bed was really comfortable! Just a great place and people! Highly recommend!

Staff were friendly. This one night stay was very special. You need to have a spare £900 for a one night stay with dinner, wine and breakfast but well worth the luxury!SueYoung couple
