We booked this place just a few minutes after the volcano exploded as our Airbnb was in the affected area and even though it was a very short notice, Hugo prepared the apartment perfectly. The place is like an oasis in La Palma, really quiet, with some peacocks hanging around and the decoration is really nice. Clean and cozy. The apartment is full of small details. There is a really nice restaurant 2 min walking and there is a huge parking just next to the door of the cabins.

The location, just outside Santa Cruz, was perfect for exploring the island. Our host was very helpful with providing us with information, esp. for the supermarkets - I was very concerned about arriving late on Christmas Eve and not being able to buy food. My anxiety was for naught, our host had a cornucopia of food waiting for us when we arrived, including homemade cake and bubbly! The apartment was nice and toasty as he had a fire in the wood stove to warm up the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious and homey and we had access to a beautiful patio and garden and a magnificent view of Santa Cruz. We highly recommend La Sabana!

What an amazing place, we loved the location, nice and secluded, with a lovely wooden oven, it was so fun that we stayed in and bbq on most nights. Eugenio was very friendly and informative and left locally grown avos and other veg for us, really appreciated. Place is well equipped, and there are a couple nice restaurants within walking distance, 20 mins. If you like walking, it is absolutely the right place to be. We will definitely be returning.

It is an apartment located in a villa. One bedroom faces the terrace and swimming pool. The bathroom is large and comfortable. The kitchen is located at the back of the apartment. There is no living room, its function is performed by a part of the kitchen at the entrance to the apartment. The apartment has a beautiful view from the terrace. The facilities are not new but sufficient.

Great week in Corral de Payo for our group of 5 adults. the house is spacious and well equipped. Nice pool, shared with the neighbour houses and barbecue at disposal. The view from the garden and the morning sun are a plus! Easy communication with the host for check-in and check-out. 100% recommended

Lovely and cosy Canary style home. Beautiful view for a sunrise and big terrace with everything you need. Working remotely is also possible with no issues. I was travelling alone, but place is also very romantic and big enough for a couple. Federico is super nice and always helpful. Bus stop with 2 lines and connection to Santa Cruz is just 3 minutes away.

Stunning location overlooking the ocean, beautifully maintained garden, huge windows. I loved the book exchange shelf with books in different languages. There are board games too, and everything you need in the kitchen including coffee. Our host was excellent and friendly.

- A true traditional Canarian rural house. The furniture and decor are authentic and antique, you will even find photos of the ancestors on the walls. - The owners, Fidel and Priscilla turned the property around the house into a beautiful botanical garden with all kinds of plants and trees - and the juiciest oranges I ever had. - Our huge rental car didn't fit into the driveway so Fidel arranged private parking for us. Which was amazing and only a few meters away from the house - The owners speak Spanish only, which is also listed on Booking but I noticed too late. But even with my non existent Spanish we were able to communicate and arrange everything with Fidel and Priscilla. They are amazingly kind people. Kindness speaks all languages anyway :-) - There are cats - The owners visit the property daily to take care of the garden, so you feel safe and can always talk to them if you need anything. Don't worry about privacy, they keep working on their garden while leaving the guests to enjoy their vacation. - Everything is clean and the kitchen has enough utensils to cook. There is a gas stove, microvawe, toaster and many more useful things. - The location is 10 minutes from the airport. There is an amazing Thai restaurant called Jazmine (also maybe 10 mins by car if you choose the comfortable roads instead of the shortcuts suggested by Google maps) Another nearby place is Los Cancajos with a very nice beach and multiple restaurants and shops - we had quite a few rainy days, but Priscilla gave us a tip to drive to Tazacorte when it rains because Tazacorte is mostly always sunny. And it was true, we got to enjoy extra sun because of this insider knowledge of the island - you don't really hear the airplanes even though you are so close to the airport. I guess it is because of the altitude differences
