A beautiful little village, just 5 minutes off the motorway with stunning views. The hotel was small, very quiet, very historic and the dinner was amazing!

The location is very interesting, a lovely small town with a big castle and great views over the surrounding countryside. It is a great stop if you are on your way from Santander or Bilbao to Portugal or south of Spain. The room was very clean and nice ye olde decor. Easy free onstreet parking nearby. We didn't have any meals in the restaurant as the chef was not there until 21.00 and we were too hungry to wait and went elsewhere. For breakfast there was a churros stall near the castle. I am addicted to churros.
