The breakfast basket for two was enough to feed all three of us for dinner (sausages, bacon and eggs with toast) and breakfast (yoghurt, muesli etc)

Perfect place to stay and it got everything you could and couldnt think of in the cottage. The most comfortable place we have stayed in so far!!!

Situated in Nottingham Road and only 21 km from Fort Nottingham Museum, Springvale Farm features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!

The Bunker is set in Champagne Valley and offers barbecue facilities and a terrace. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. Super convenient location and incredibly private. Wonderful views of the mountains. Unit is exceptionally spacious and excellent value for the money. We are already recommending The Bunker to our friends for any trips they may be considering to Drakensberg. Jo is very thoughtful and communication was excellent in all respects. Would book again without hesitation.

Set 10 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club and 18 km from Howick Museum, Far Away Place features free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Modern and cosy, amazing views, good access to all attractions.

Offering a garden and garden view, Thyme Out Weltevreden Farm is situated in Curryʼs Post, 13 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club and 22 km from Karkloof Nature Reserve. The attention to detail is amazing! Everything was thought of and you can see the hosts try hard to make sure each guest's stay is welcoming and that you have everything you need. Very comfortable with very high quality furniture and amenities. Will definitely be back!

Featuring lake views, Forty Winks features accommodation with balcony, around 29 km from Drakensberg Reserve. With river views, this accommodation offers a patio. Forty Winks is a cosy, comfortable, safe, and beautiful place to enjoy a family getaway. It is quiet, serene, peaceful and so relaxing. The hosts take every single detail into consideration. We were provided complimentary farm eggs, milk, rusks, firewood, coal, drinking water, and home brewed sherry. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. My kids were able to enjoy the outdoors and we loved exploring the trails. The view is just phenomenal. For international travelers, this has been one of the most amazing places we've ever stayed at. It delivered far more than we expected, and we are undoubtedly going to return to Forty Winks on our next visit to South Africa.

Set in Champagne Valley, 2.1 km from Monks Cowl Country Club, Ama Casa Cottages offers accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. Amazing view, both from the room and the hot tub. The unit is spacious and great for self catering as it already has the essentials - even a dishwasher. Close to a lot of tourist attractions. Awesome hosts.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Penwarn Farm Lodge offers accommodation with patio, around 26 km from Himeville Museum. The Penwarn manor was a wonderful, clean 16 sleeper self-catering house for a family stay in scenic Underberg.

Otters Den offers accommodation in Nottingham Road. The accommodation features a spa bath. Flyfishing is 10 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Very clean, great view, loved the extra detail with flowers on the bed and next to the cups. They go the extra mile for you with this service.
