Bikki jungle homestay is situated in Ha Giang. This country house features free private parking and luggage storage space. I was welcomed warmly by Bick and her family, and everything about this homestay exceeded my expectations. The setting is idyllic, situated low on the mountainside and just a five-minute walk to the river in the valley, where you can swim in (small) waterfall pools, which I did each day I was there. Views from the bedrooms and dining area are excellent. The food is delicious. Bick is an engaging host, who is eager to show her guests around. She swam in the river with me and invited me to pick tea leaves one morning with her and her mother. Later that evening, we roasted the tea leaves together. She knows a lot about the tea-making process, and also offers trekking tours of the area which I did not partake in but would like to try in the future. I've stayed at more than a dozen homestays in northern Vietnam, and have had several good experiences. This was among the best. Not that it's necessary, but it's also worth mentioning that Bick can communicate fairly well in English and is eager to practice with guess and improve her English-speaking skills. I will surely return to Bick's Homestay the next time I visit Vietnam. I booked for one night and extended my stay. I would've loved to stay for even longer. My partner and I arrived after riding in the dark late and quite stressed, however the family were so welcoming and lovely - making us feel right at home. They offered us dinner right away and ended up cooking up an incredibly delicious meal, also offering us their home made corn wine and sitting with us to chat with their family and neighbours. The place is such a beautiful and unique style of homestay compared to others we have stayed at - with a location and design that made us feel like we were getting to experience a very traditional and forest like accommodation. The scenery was so lush and like something we had never experienced before. I was so amazed at how such a young family had taken on this business and was thoroughly happy with the whole experience that I would love to go back one day.

Located in Bong Ha in the Ha Giang region, Homestay Trúc Sơn features a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We received a very warm welcome from the host family and felt very welcome. It was a lovely experience, they cooked for us generously and we ate together with another couple and the host family two daughters Siu and Ni, followed by a round of karaoke. The two girls were incredibly accommodating and sweet. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

A recently renovated holiday home in Ha Giang, Thavill Retreat HaGiang offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. This is the only dormitory I have ever stayed in with an extremely cheap price but like a quality hotel. My bed is super wide with high quality, large and cozy space. The dining and cafe seats are meticulously arranged and clean, delicious meals while visiting the traditional village.

Super short drive to the city Center and so quiet and beautiful views. Breakfast was good and owners were so kind and lovely ! Wish we could have stayed here longer

They built their bamboo house in a quiet place just outside Ha Giang and the rooms are cozy and clean with a beautiful view. We had the best dinners there with the whole family, excellent homemade Vietnamese food (a lot of local liquor aka "happy water") and a great time sharing experiences :) We really hope to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The family is very friendly and even invited us to eat dinner with them during tet. The room is comfy and I really enjoyed the bathrooms - they were very clean and had great showers.
