We had a really nice stay in the chalet, with my husband and my 2-year-old son. I loved the fireplace, it creates such a cosy atmosphere and we also used the hot tub a few times. It was good that there were no neighbours and that the house is a bit hidden in the woods.

It is a perfect location for those wanting a retreat into the nature. It is peace and quite outside, with many opportunities for a hike and a ski slope nearby. There are a few similar cottages nearby but all were empty during our stay, so it was really quiet the entire time. There are no restaurants in the village, but there are several within a few kilometres. The owners were friendly and helpful, they waited for us at our arrival to give us the keys and show everything in and around the house.

Surrounded by the Low Tatras National Park, located in Nižná Boca, Rekreačná chata LUNA offers rooms with a private bathroom, and a common kitchen with a living area, a TV and a fireplace. It is a beautiful little house. Much improoved since the pictures are taken: there is a terrace, a place to grill, and playground for the children. Flowers and beautifully kept garden. The hosts are hardworking locals, managing the place by themselves. I find so much joy meeting locals, who trust us to enjoy their beautiful rooms and garden. We had a wonderful time with my family. I appreciate this place more than any luxury. I recommend it to anyone who plans to visit the Tatras. The location is great because both the High-and the Low-Tatras are close. The hosts are speaking german, and were really friendly. It was so much more than I expected for the price, thank you!
