We enjoyed the calmness and beauty of the area. Our little baby was excited to get close to animals and it was also great that there was a neat grass area in front of the house where we could hang out. Spacious apartment! The place is very cozy and very clean. And they have a nice breakfast! The farm was a starting place for trips to nearby Alps destinations, but we could have equally stayed there all the time as well - it is so pleasant...

Good location to explore the beautiful Upper Savinje Valley and Kamnik-Savinje Alps. Very nice atmosphere, impeccably clean place. Good chats with Alenka and her daughters. Great food, even a bit too much for us. Blueberry pie and blueberry schnapps are highly recommended.

We were staying in a spacious, tidy, well-equipped apartment. The Tourist Farm Kolar itself is in a beautiful valley, just outside of the small town center of Ljubno. It really is a farm: there's an eco-garden full of herbs and vegetables (and you can indeed take whatever you want) and various animals. The hosts are very hospitable and they kindly offered us eggs, locally made zelodec and their self-made schnapps which was great. Everyone speaks English, not only at the farm but wherever we went, so it's really easy to get around.
