Offering a sun terrace, Hamgården Nature Resort Tiveden is located in Tived, 12 km from Tived National Park. Mariestad is 66 km away, while Vadstena is 84 km away. it was beautiful and in a beautiful setting. The meals were excellent, the staff friendly and incredibly helpful. What's not to like? I noticed that my profile identifies me as being from the US, even though I live in France.

We stayed in the new tiny house, it was lovely and we had a very nice view to lake Skagern. The tiny house had everything we needed. Lovely house in a calm location, no trouble finding the address. Liked the spacious garden, decking and balcony. Every room has windows on at least two sides so nice and bright inside. Kitchen and house overall well-equipped. Beds comfortable, firm but slept well. Internet speed works well for streaming, though there are a couple of wifi dead spots. Small supermarkets about 15 min drive away. Welcoming owner responded quickly to questions.

The owner was also so friendly and they show us around that area and also their garden. After we walked around their small garden we ended up cooking Thai food and had dinner with them because they really love Thai foods. Moreover they still showed us how local people made charcoal in the old style. Highly recommended this place.
