The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

Camp Caroli Hobbit Hut berlokasi di Jukkasjarvi, 21 km dari Kiruna Bus Station, 21 km dari Esrange Space Center, serta 24 km dari LKAB Visitor Centre. Hobbit Hut is a romantic place, small but we got what we expected. Ideal for one or two nights to watch Northern lights. We were lucky and first night we had spectacular view on sky full of stars, half moon and Northern lights. Thanks to Stefan and Jonathan we had beautiful stay full of activities on snow. Wish to come back.

Nestled on the edge of a serene lake and embraced by dense forests, the location of the cabin offered breathtaking views that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. The hut's position on a gentle slope provided an unparalleled vantage point from its balcony, where the surrounding landscape, blanketed in a thick layer of snow, sparkled under the winter sky. The charm of the cabin was further accentuated by its construction. Built by a carpenter, the hut exudes a cozy, handmade feel that instantly makes you feel at ease. Its wooden walls and rustic interior create a warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a winter escape. Equipped with a kitchen, bedroom, fireplace, and dining area, the hut offers all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Although it lacks modern conveniences like a shower and running water, this was clearly communicated in the accommodation details, and honestly, it only added to the authentic experience. The separate dry toilet building is a small price to pay for such an idyllic setting. What truly sets this place apart is the impeccable maintenance and cleanliness. Everything, from the functioning amenities to the fresh-smelling linen, was in perfect order, ensuring a hassle-free stay. However, the highlight of our stay was the hospitality shown by our host, Elke. Going above and beyond, Elke provided us with fresh water, delicious breakfasts, and dinners, and even made sure our fireplace was lit for a cozy evening. Her attentiveness and dedication to ensuring we had everything we needed made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. In summary, our night in the cabin was nothing short of fantastic.

The house was furnished as a full-fledged home, you only need to bring your suitcase and buy food at the lokal store. Beds and linens were clean. Quiet neighborhood.
