As a Uruguayan living in Sweden, I always take my vacations in Uruguay. Due to the pandemic that has become impossible, so I wanted to pick a country with a coastline towards the Atlantic and Portugal was the perfect match. I had already visited the Algarve last year and knew I wanted to live in a rural location between Aljezur and Odeceixe, so Rogil was what I was looking for. If you really, really want tranquility and peace of mind Herdade de Vagem is truly the place for you. The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Beautiful scenery, close to the Fisherman's trail. The outdoor fireplace was a great bonus surprise. Thanks for a lovely stay and experience!

Quinta das Alfambras er staðsett í Aljezur, 15 km frá Aljezur-kastala, 15 km frá náttúrugarðinum Southwest Alentejo og náttúrugarðinum Vicentine Coast og 26 km frá Santo António-golfvellinum. Absolutely incredible stay! Everything was perfect, super clean & comfortable & nothing was too much trouble. Vera & her mum made us very welcome during our stay & they were always on hand with anything we needed. The place is truly amazing, so tranquil & relaxing & the Quinta’s are so homely & comfortable. The salted pool was a bonus. The breakfast is delivered to your terrace & was delicious. Lots to choose from & filled us up for most of the day. I was celebrating my birthday & I’ll never forgot it. The personal touches were very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning. Thank-you so much!

Home Village er gististaður með grillaðstöðu í Vila. do Bispo, 35 km frá Aljezur-kastala, 45 km frá Algarve-alþjóðabrautinni og 10 km frá Sagres-virki. Perfect little retro house with very sunny balcony. Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Owners also made up a single bedroom upstairs which was a bonus . Photos don’t do it justice . It’s a great house at a good price . Thanks for having us

Casa do Lado er staðsett í Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1,2 km frá Lighthouse-ströndinni og 700 metra frá Sao Clemente Fort. Gististaðurinn býður upp á garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Excellent B&B ! Everything you could wish for in a B&B experience : fine room (ours was on the ground floor) with a spacious bed and ample storage room. Perfect bathroom with a great shower and an impeccable host (or his sister) serving a great breakfast. Definitely a lodging to return to.

Abrigo das Nortadas er gististaður með sameiginlegri setustofu í Vila. Amazing hosts and a very cozy clean house! You do need a car in that location, but José was extremely nice to drive us to places until we got our own vehicle 😌

Biscuttela Vicentina er staðsett í Praia da Arrifana, 500 metra frá Arrifana-ströndinni og 7,5 km frá Aljezur-kastalanum, en það býður upp á grillaðstöðu og hljóðlátt götuútsýni. The house was just perfect in every way, spacious, great location and the host helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommended.

A Casinha da Baía er staðsett í Porto Covo og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. Gististaðurinn er við ströndina og er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis WiFi. This cute little property was the perfect spot in Porto Covo! The host was amazing and left us some fresh bread and wine, which was so sweet. There's plenty of amenities at the house you can use, including coffee and a beach umbrella! The balcony is so nice with an ocean view. The A/C works SUPER well, it kept us frozen. Bathroom is great, awesome water pressure and lots of towels. The host recommended some awesome restaurants and there's a grocery store nearby. All in all, a really nice little place with everything you could need!
