Pohara's Beach House is set in Pohara. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Amazing views, stylish and comfortable. While a small space, it had everything needed and more. I was impressed with the kitchenware which was well-supplied and thought out for use in a small space. There was an inflatable paddle board which is great to take out on a calm morning and watch the dawn from the water. Short walking distance to several restaurants. The host was responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay longer.

Easy check in, beautiful accomodation with all basic necessities provided. Lovely hist and highly recommended to everyone! Such a beautiful spot, can't wait to go again! So good for an easy get away woth friends or family! We felt like we were living in luxury. Excellent service and happy with our stay. Nothing we didn't like. Only thing we would do different next time would be to bring extra blankets as the bunk bedding was beautiful, but some friends got a bit cold. We did have a fire place though to keep us warm! A++++ happy with the beautiful stay!

Nothing online did this place justice. Its tranquility, its wildness, its beauty. The chalet was perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all and explore the amazing landscape with rugged views, sweeping beaches and countless caves.

Offering outdoor baths, sea views, and excellent heating, Golden Bay Hideaway is a warm and private retreat in Wainui Bay, 27 km from Takaka, at the northern end of the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. Gorgeous view in a secluded spot. Very close to Abel Tasman for hiking and you can contact the management for a ride to the park so you can hike back to the greenie. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and bathroom very clean (a very nice composting toilet setup they've clearly honed in). The outdoor bathtub is a great treat and has hot water. You're a half hour outside Takaka so bring your provisions for the stay and enjoy the view.
