This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

Double glazed doors open up from the living room to a sheltered outdoor deck where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the view during the day and star gazing at night. The high spec kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. Washer dryer, dishwasher included. The two bedrooms feature queen sized bed with external bathroom. Ideal for couples or a family with children. All beds are almost new and excellent quality and each bedroom has its own heater. Clean sheets and towels. They have a mini petting zoo and star gazing tour near the lodge as well. Recommending to everyone to stay at least two nights
