Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and barbecue, Vastrap Guest Farm is set 5 km on the B3 Road from Grünau and 3.1 km from Mt Quarzriff (1127m). Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Hospitality was fantastic. The staff were very warm and friendly. The beds were excellent and comfortable. The kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate dietary restrictions. Our vegan companion was blown away by the options. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to/from the Fish River Canyon.

Can highly recommend staying here will definitely come again.

It is a great place to stay at Kalahari desert on the way to Mata Mata and SA border, with a wonderfull host Peter who wants to share his farm life exerience. The room we booked was very comfortable, spacious, fully equiped and lovely decorated by Hanli. The icing on the cake was meeting a giraffe on our evening walk in the sunset :) Hanli - Thank you for hospitality.

Perfect Stopover on the way to Mata Mata camp. Peaceful location on a working farm. Beautiful decor, spacious and a (much needed in December) efficient aircon. Milkshake made in farmstall a must have.
