Everything was spectacular!! The staff were so welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious. THE VIEWS !!!! The swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the lake.. we didn’t even pay attention to the villa itself and still it was gorgeous and comfy. But the service, the place the location. Wow! We saw buffalos from the room, a crocodile, peacocks… it was AMAZING

Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. A wonderful place in the middle of nature. Access by car is difficult, but totally worth it. It was nice that a bigger Safari car was organized to meet us on the way. The manager (Gamini) is very accommodating and super friendly. We stayed Deluxe Bungalow - An incredibly specious villa. The whole area is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The property even has its own observation tower where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. The food was delicious and wonderful. The BBQ bonfire dinner was very special and memorable. A perfect place to stay if you want to go on a Yala Safari. Safari offered by the hotel is a bit expensive, so consider different options if possible. All in all.. A nice place to stay in Sri Lanka for sure. Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

Situated in Tissamaharama, Richards Cabanas is located amidst calming greenery and peaceful natural surroundings. It features an outdoor swimming pool and provides complimentary parking and free WiFi.... Amazing breakfast in a beautiful peaceful garden, wish we had more time to spend here!

Overlooking Tissa Lake, Lake View Cottage offers air-conditioned rooms with a 4-posted bed and free Wi-Fi. The owner is really nice and helpful, it is kind to provide breakfast and the dinner offers are very good, the price is reasonable and worthwhile. The house is just next to the lake, you can enjoy the lake view even when you lie on the beds.

Udar awas an excellent host who took an interest in us and did everything he could to make our stay memorable. He took us to a local beach and showed us around. He also accompanied us as a guide on our Yala safari day after making all the arrangement for it. Breakfast and dinner were very good and more than enough. On the early start safari day, breakfast was packed for us to eat later. Very good wifi and the house is spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful place, wonderful staff, great food, especially the bonfire dinner. The wild beach close by is fantastic and the sunset on the dunes impressing. Very much recommendable. Thank you!

Located in Tissamaharama, this villa is 8 km from Tissa Wewa and a 15-20 minute drive to the Yala National Park. The villa has air conditioning and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on... The place was designed in a special way that blends in with the outside nature, the host was amazing and unusually kind. All our needs were taken care of flawlessly. The food at the meals was very indulgent. We had a great experience and it's a shame we didn't stay more nights in this magical place!
