A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

Tsuru Villa státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 37 km fjarlægð frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum. Villan er með einkasundlaug, garð og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

I’ve been in Sri Lanka for 4 weeks and stayed at more than a dozen places. This one I will never forget. When I first saw the ad, I thought it looked too good to be true. But since there was a special price for the opening, I thought I’d give it a try. I could not be happier with the choice. I've had an unforgettable experience. This place is absolutely fantastic! To help future guests, I will try to provide as much detail as I can in BOTH columns: The cottage only opened in February 2024, so everything is brand new. Unlike in other places, you actually get what you see in the pictures. Everything about this place is very well thought-through and built in a way such as to allow for a most pleasant stay: The cottage is located very quietly in the middle of nature but still close enough to town (5 min by tuktuk). It has an outdoor terrace with two regular and one swing chair offering a lovely view over the garden. The bedroom is beautifully designed and very spacious. The wardrobe and dresser offer plenty of space to store luggage openly and easily accessible. The beds are very comfortable and the mattrasses have standard European/US length (I mention this because sometimes in Sri Lanka, the mattrasses are shorter so that your feet stick out at the end). The A/C is very powerful and there are no smells (which sometimes happens with older models). It cools down the entire room very evenly. There are multiple electrical outlets which all types of sockets (even USB slots). There are light switches for every single lamp which allows you to set the lighting in just the way you prefer. Worth mentioning here too is the warm temperature of the light. The WiFi is reliable and sufficiently strong for browsing, streaming, and video calls.

We loved the peaceful location. Nicely tucked away but still only a short distance from the park. Anju and his family were fantastic hosts. His Mums cooking was superb! The safari Anju arranged for us was brilliant. He took us to some lovely secluded spots, including right next to a lake for a picnic lunch he had prepared for us. We managed to see; elephants-(lost count of how many), crocodiles, mongoose, jackal, wild boar, deer, peacocks, green bee eaters, blue long tailed bee eaters, tortoise, toucan, two types of monkeys, hawk eagles, painted stork, green parrots, monitor lizards, kingfisher and fish that went crazy for leftover pancakes! We will definitely recommend EdenHaven to any family and friends looking to visit Sri Lanka who want to experience a safari and unique, family run accommodation.

The room is much larger than expected, and the facilities and amenities were well-equipped. It seems like it would be suitable for a long-term stay with the family. The inn is within walking distance of the bus terminal, making it convenient for travelers. The host is kind.

This was one of the best nature accommodation experiences that I've ever had. We were able to completely disconnect and bathe in nature for two days. I never write reviews but honestly felt compelled to do so for this property. I kind of am scared that somehow many people will find out about it and it will lose it's beautiful appeal by becoming overcrowded! But for anyone thinking about having an adventure and venturing deep into the jungle in Sri Lanka spending a night surrounded by the elements in an amazing luxury setup with absolutely wonderful staff and an exceptional cook then look no other way. Thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing experience. It had been years since we were able to slow down and do just nothing. And us spending our day idly was the best part of this stay. Reading, writing, hiking, trekking, swimming in a natural pool, listening to the rain and the river water flowing, watching fireflies, staring at the shadows of trees on the ceiling, we felt that we were children again! We'll definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Chandana and Dissanayake for their great hospitality and absolutely AMAZING food. And of course a big thank you to the owner of the property that was extremely helpful making sure we are comfortable and very well taken care of during our stay. Please keep the property the gem that it is, sustainably nestled inside the jungle co-existing with Sinharaja in such a beautiful way! Thanks for providing us with such a great opportunity to reconnect with nature.

Aji ávaxtabýlið er staðsett í Embilipitiya, 37 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og 47 km frá Tangalle-lóninu og býður upp á vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu og loftkælingu. Aji's Fruit Farm is a unique place to stay. The cottage/bungalow has two bedrooms, complete kitchen facilities, air-conditioning and a washing machine!!! The wide verandah has comfortable table and chairs for relaxing and taking in the breeze. The cottage is situated amid grassy coconut groves on an award-winning fruit farm. Just meters away is the property lake front where you can swim. At the you have a lovely cabana, hammocks and swing (with outdoor restaurant under construction). Sunrise view from the cabana should not be missed followed by a delicious breakfast. Aji is a wonderful, thoughtful host. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from Uda Walawe NP, so within easy access, and a lovely peaceful alternative. We were sorry we could only stay one night.

The location is good, not far to safari. It's easy to order a safari. The place is a detached building in the garden of the owner, it feels very safe and help is always very near. Great hosts and great meals (they cooked for us a vegan meal on request). The room is very big with good air conditioning and fan. There is enough space, the bed is big and everything is clean and modern. The bathroom has hot water on demand and is very clean. We spent two very nice nights there and would recommend it.
