Located in Sigiriya, 3 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Cottage provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very clean room, fab shower, lovely garden environment creating a very relaxed and chilled out place to stay. Really good AC, but also a quiet fan if you don’t like sleeping with AC on or find it too harsh. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.

Set in Sigiriya, 3.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cottage Sigiriya offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. This was one of the best homestays I have experienced. The hosts are very friendly, and hospitality is superb. We received a very tasty homemade breakfast. The house is located very close to Matale town (about 1.5 km). The view from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommended.

Situated near Pidurangala Rock and Sigiriya Museum, Roo Mansala Boutique Villas is in Sigiriya and features free private parking and a restaurant. Impeccabel service from all staff members! The room is extremely comfortable with a very comfy and large bed and beautiful balcony. Delicious breakfast and dinner! We were very suprised to be greeted by the Chef during our dinner, such a perfect detail. Very happy to have chosen Roo Mansala for our two night stay! I couldn't recommend more this hotel for future guests.

Situated in Sigiriya, 1.4 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sunrise Cottage features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating! The room is spacious and well maintained! you feel like you’re living the Sri Lankan life by staying with this amazing family! The food prepared by the housewife was delicious and portions were very generous! I would totally come back here :)

Boasting lake views, Sungreen Cottage Sigiriya provides accommodation with patio, around 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. The property was built in 2016 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony.... Very nice place in the middle of nature. Lots of birds and animals to see. The staff were very attentive and breakfast was delicious every morning. Would highly recommend. Promot the manager cares greatly about the business and works very hard to create the perfect experience for his guests.

Situated in Dambulla, within 27 km of Sigiriya Rock and 30 km of Pidurangala Rock, Villa Mankani features accommodation with pool with a view as well as free private parking for guests who drive. We had the pleasure of being some of the first guests at this wonderful retreat in Sri Lanka, and we absolutely loved it! The food was exceptional, with a great variety of fresh and delicious Sri Lankan dishes. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We were also impressed by the attention to detail, including the information provided about the trees on the property, including their Latin names. The architecture was not only pleasing to the eye but also absolutely functional. Additionally, the manager went out of their way to ensure our well-being, as they complimentary called a doctor to check on me after I caught a cold during the train ride. We can't wait to return and experience the hospitality and beauty of this accommodation facility again!

The place at A Frame Riverston is really beautiful with hills, grasslands, and bushes all around. The weather was a bit cool, but the wind felt amazing. We could feel the breeze and enjoy the view. The area is very pretty and awesome. We had really good meals there, which made our stay even better. The food was delicious and added to the enjoyment of our trip. It was great to have such tasty meals while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay was very pleasant because of the lovely weather, stunning views, and delicious food. We would love to visit again in the future.
