A beautiful guest house set in a lovely garden with a great swimming pool! Rekhe and her staff Lowel and Ranj were outstanding. They couldn’t do enough for us and treated us like royalty ! Breakfast on the verandah was the best we had in Sri Lanka. But the dinner that night at Trax was tops - from being collected at our villa and then brought back again! The villa overall is absolutely gorgeous. Looking right out onto the beach and the villa is so lovely and tropical modern in its design and aesthetic. There are two villas, one each side of a fabulous pool in the middle. The chef was amazing with incredible food and service, we were on full board which we highly recommend - once you arrive it’s very hard to leave. The caretaker, groundsmen and security were all fantastic. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Set in Wadduwa, 200 metres from Wadduwa Beach, Lavila beach cottage offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The location was great, right by the beach and also close to main street with shopping possibilities. There is a lovely shady garden and staff are very helpful to give you a bed wherever you want it! I also was happy with the food I had.

This property is exceptional, but better than the property are the host and his wife. It is a 7 min walk to a beautiful clean beach. 3 - 5 mins by tuk tuk to the city centre and various ayurveda centres, money exchange, pier88 (fantastic restaurant on the river). A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. Happy Nest, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is situated in Talagala, 29 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, 35 km from Khan Clock Tower, as well as 38 km from R Premadasa Stadium. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area. You get a nice country feeling. Great for relaxation away from busy city life. The property was fully equipped. Just feels like you are living in your own home. The lady who was running the place was great and always there to help with anything you need. She was very kind and hospitable.

The ocean is just within 5 minutes walk, the food city is round the corner. WiFi was excellent for online work, kitchen had all the necessary and both the owner and the manager did everything to make our stay even more comfortable. There is a very beautiful patio with an aquarium. I highly recommend this place!
