We were welcomed like family coming home from the moment that we arrived. Our gracious host took us on a tour of his beautiful gardens and surrounding property. The accommodation itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was deliciously prepared using produce from the gardens, served in a pleasant setting. The host is what sets this property apart, a definite highlight of our trip.

For context I am a solo female traveller who can speak only a little amount of Korean. I had left my large suitcase at my long term accommodation in Gwangju and just brought my backpack which definitely made things a lot easier. I had a beautiful stay, and after getting lost on the rural bus network getting here the host was quick to comfort me and offered to pick me up from my location. She made me feel so at home despite the language barrier, giving me food and starting the campfire where I stayed for over an hour with little Cookie the kitten purring on my lap. While it might take a little more thought and effort getting here it is certainly worth it for the serenity and hospitality you receive. The breakfast was also lovely. Nothing to fault about my stay, I hope you consider staying too :)

El Suncheon Bay Healing Pension se encuentra en Kan-dong, a 4,3 km del jardín nacional de la bahía de Suncheonman y a 7,2 km de la estación de Suncheon, y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, wifi gratis... The location was great - bus stop very close by and a short walk to Suncheon Bay. The owner was very kind, and the room was spacious and clean. The heated floor (ondol) was a very welcome surprise and the pension was very quiet. Altogether we had a great night's sleep and would come back again!!

El Private Mosageum ofrece vistas al mar y se encuentra en Yeosu, a 2,1 km de la playa de arena negra de Manseongri y a 6,1 km de la torre Sky. The house is right in front of the beach! Amazing!!

Very helpful host with quick messaging. Close to start of Jirisan hike. Beautiful rural location. Nice Cafe within 2 minutes walk.

El Vernia Soopmaru ofrece vistas al jardín y alojamiento con patio y hervidor de agua a unos 2,1 km del parque Dolsan. Se encuentra frente a la playa y cuenta con jardín y terraza.

El Uwha Minbak se encuentra en Yeosu, a 14 km de la ermita budista de Guksaam y a 22 km de la Universidad Nacional de Chonnam Guk-dong, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado,... The host was incredibly helpful, from offering extra food for my children to turning up at 5am as a wake-up call (we had a very early morning ferry to catch). There was also a great grilled fish and pork cutlet restaurant just a stone's throw away. My kids enjoyed playing in the sea at the end of a long day's driving. The courtyard was also great, with the mini pagoda to hang out in. We will go back specifically to go to this pension!

El Golmangtae Pension se encuentra a 2,1 km del Museo del Té de Corea y ofrece alojamiento con bar, jardín y cocina compartida. Hay wifi gratis. The host was very friendly. They treated with wine upon arrival. They even made us a specific dish for breakfast after asking us what our favorite Korean dish is. The area is relaxing and beautiful.

El Four Seasons Pension se encuentra en Suncheon, a 4,2 km del jardín nacional de la bahía de Suncheonman y a 8 km del parque Jukdobong, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y... Exceptionally clean, comfortable and relaxing environment. Very close to the Wetlands Ecological Area which is certainly worth a visit. Can catch the monorail to the Suncheon National Park, a beautiful park, but the monorail station is a bit of a walk as the station isn't at the Wetlands itself. Monorail operates seasonally. Wonderful owner who gave us lots of help and advice about restaurants - great recommendations - taxis, etc.
