We stayed four nights, with day trips to the Gangchon Rail Park, Alpaca World, and Nami Island. This place was recommended by friends and I'm so glad we decided to stay here. John and his wife were really kind and took very good care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Hot water flowed freely during bathtime and we drank cold water straight from the tap. For the most part, we felt like we were visiting grandparents who kept feeding us. We skipped the Vivaldi Ski Park only to discover Pallbong-san was closed for the winter, but John got us four gimbap, brought us to a nearby service road up a small peak, and sent us on a short hike (that incline!). We still got to muck around in the mud and leaves on the way up. Our sons (9 and 7) enjoyed the outdoors, helping John build campfires, playing with his wife's dog, and generally just running around the property screeching like banshees and dipping into John's store of firewood and kindling as he looked on indulgently (city kids don't get campfires much). The charcoal barbecue most reviews mention was a highlight, as was (for me anyway!!) cooking kimchi ramyeon with actual kimchi in a pot on a stove in a proper pension in the Korean countryside. I saved the receipt from our trip to the mart to buy ingredients too, it's going into my journal. Thank you John and Mrs Lee for your hospitality, we will not forget it. p/s For runners, there's a short out and back - just follow the pavement that starts at one of the roads in front of the property (the road after the tunnel, you'll see when you get there) to the end. A round trip took us about 40+ minutes? We called it 6plus-7km. A pleasant enough route.

Casa Seorak Bed and Breakfast asub Sokchos, Mulchi rannast vaid 2,1 km kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade merele. WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla kasutamine on tasuta. We had a fantastic stay at Casa Seorak! The owner was incredibly helpful with recommendations. The breakfast on a terrace was tasty and convenient, and the location was perfect for exploring. The jacuzzi was a much-needed relaxation after hiking in Seoroksan Park. Highly recommended!

Yangyang Ocean Stay asub Yangyangis, Jukdo ja Ingu ranna lähedal. Hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutusel on erarand ja aed. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on rõdu, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The apartment was nice with a beautiful view of the beach right across the street. There were a few things to do within walking distance and in the town nearby. Clean and had all the essentials needed for a short or long term stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

Konditsioneeriga Cat on a Hot Tin Roof asub Yangyangis, 300 meetri kaugusel Jukdo rannast ja 1,5 km kaugusel Ingu rannast. Selles rannaäärses majutusasutuses on rõdu, noolemäng ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus.... Unique little apartment, original atmosphere. Well-decorated and very friendly place.

Forest of Color Pension asub Lordhillsi golfi- ja kuurordist 10 km kaugusel. Majutusasutuse juurde saab sõita suuskadel. Very kind people, thoughtful considerations for kids, clean facilities, a variety enjoyable activities in the area

Aia ja konditsioneeriga Grace River House-Block B asub Hoengsongis, 12 km kaugusel Cheongwoo golfiklubist ja 16 km kaugusel Oxfieldi keskusest. Perfect location with great vieuw on the river. Very comfortable house with large living and plenty balconies. The house was very clean and roomy. The host is very kind and does everything to make the stay easy and pleasurable.

Aiavaate ja rõduga Sisilli Pension asub Pyeongchangi olümpiaväljakust umbes 24 km kaugusel. Puhkemajal on privaatne sissepääs, et muuta peatumise veelgi mugavamaks. Amazing location, friendly owners, access to national park 10 minutes away. - Lovely place to stay.
