There are also enough utilities eg garbage bags, utensils etc. The location is also convenient that it is between the JR station and the castle. The host is also very friendly with prompt reply! They let us store our luggage after check out, very nice!

Located 47 km from Enakyo Wonderland, Minshuku Suhara features accommodation in Okuwa. It is situated 47 km from Ōi and offers luggage storage space. Very atmospheric century-old minshuku. It was a great place to stay after walking from Magome to Nagiso. The host kindly greeted us when we arrived and explained everything clearly. Would definitely book again if we visit Nakasendo in the future.

Offering a ski pass sales point and ski storage space, HakubaGoryu Pension&LogCottage Arumu is situated in Hakuba, only 100 metres away from the Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort lifts. We stayed in one of the cabins. There were two western style beds and mats for additional sleeping. Two toilets and a large shower room with a large tub (hot tub maybe - didnt' reallly check it out). Immaculte clean and looked brand new with beautifully crafted wood on the walls, ceilings and floors. All you would need for cooking any meal. Short walk to ski rental places and the main lodge of Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Also many restuaurants within walkable distance. Staff called us that morning to pick us up at the bus stop - nice bonus! Breakfast was delicious and staff very nice!

Neighbouring Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field, Villa Komakusa offers a breath-taking view of the Northern Alps and a cosy cottage with wooden interiors and a ktichen. Amazing treatment from the host right from the very beginning. Host is very friendly and helped us to shuttle us from Hakuba train stn to the accommodation. Host even offered to allow us to shop at the grocery to buy food etc. Host provided a brief orientation and guided us through the accommodation facilities and provided information Hakuba activities. The cottage is very clean, cosy and spacious. As we went during winter, the cottage provides good heating to ensure that guests are comfortable. We are able to freely play with the snow outside the cottage and the host even lend us a sled for the kid to slide around the snow. Very friendly host and very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
