Located in Kyoto, 1.1 km from Nijo Castle and 1.7 km from the centre, Rinn Shiki Juraku provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed as a family. It was clean and tidy and secure. The staff cleaning and looking after the property were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the AC and they sorted it out immediately.

In the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kyoto Station, Kyoto Villa Kotone has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a balcony. Great place to stay: the house is very nice and comfortable. The location very closed to the station is very convenient to get to different places. We definitely recommend it. We are a group of 7 travellers with 3 teenagers from France

Well set in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Villa Ninja offers a balcony, air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV. The 3-star holiday home features garden views and is 1.4 km from Nijo Castle. Extremely quiet residential neighborhood a short walk from Nijo Station and Omiya station. Bakeries, 7-11, and an excellent ramen shop very nearby. The host was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. It was a truly unique stay with a fun theme.

Kyoisuke offers accommodation within 700 metres of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. It exceeded our expectation. The property looked and felt as the pictures show. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. A true traditional town house that perfectly matches the Kyoto culture. The property was close to many restaurants and cafes. The Macha tea ceremony was great at our Arrival. A bonus.

BenTen Residences offer a Japanese machiya accommodation in the heart of Higashiyama, Kyoto. Yasaka Shrine is 7 minutes on foot, while Kiyomizu Temple is a 14-minute stroll. This was exceptional accommodation and a wonderful stay. We were met by the manager who gave us detailed information about the property; in addition there were clear written instructions regarding the various appliances. Of particular interest to us were the washing machine/dryer, the water heater and the room heater controllers. Each worked beautifully and with the space, 2 bathrooms and underfloor heating throughout, we had every facility we could have wanted. The home is furnished beautifully and the beds and bedding were first class. The daily service provided at Ben Ten is also wonderful - every day the bathrooms were cleaned, our towels were replaced and rubbish was removed. In addition, the location of the property is amazing - in the heart of old Kyoto/ Higashiyama and just a few blocks from Gion; a 2 minute walk to a great bus route; and within 5 minutes walk of 3 convenience stores and a supermarket!!! To end our stay, the manager arranged for a taxi for us and came to help us with instructions to the taxi driver. This is impressive accommodation with great service and we unreservedly recommend it.

Situated in Kyoto, 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum,Kyoto Machiya Fukune is an accommodation with a garden. The accommodation has a hot tub. We spent 3-nights in Kyoto for a family trip. Both my parents and my son enjoyed the stay, very clean and comfortable. Prepared everything we need during the stay. Japanese breakfast set is delicious. Location is good as well, quiet neighborhood with good choices of Japanese cuisine. Acceptable walking distance to the subway station.
