民泊大森 is situated in Iyo, 26 km from Tobe Pottery Museum, 27 km from Uchiko Town Museum, and 28 km from Machiya Resource Center. I loved everything about this stay. Very friendly and warm hosts, a really comfortable place overall. Iyo doesn’t have too much in the way of food, but they provided some toast and jam which was really nice of them. I’m especially grateful that they took me around the town when I unfortunately couldn’t make it to Cat Island. Beds were comfy futons.

I don’t know where to begin. When we first came, the host met us with a refreshment drink, which was delicious. We stayed alone in the whole ryokan, which was beautiful, everyting is put together, everything in its own place, everything where you need it to be, things in little boxes, baskets, decorative plates. It was beautiful. There was complementary bottled water, tea, coffee and japanese sweets as well as fruit, which were all very delicious. The location is also nice, a bit away from all the fuss of the city, but easy to reach. As we were about to leave, the host also made us a little present with a cute note on top, that was very nice of him. All things considered, it was worth the money, we had a very nice stay that not only met, but exceeded our expectations.

Very nicely presented house. Nice mix of traditional and modern features. Lots of space. Easy to do laundry. Nice outdoor cooking area - we didn't use it but it looked good.
