It is a striking cave room experience. As soon as we were welcomed inside the dreamy cave room, we felt a sensation of contentment and astonishment. The decoration of the room showed ample care as well as an aesthetic selection of furniture. Cleanliness, comfort and hospitality were shown by the intricate details of the room from head to toe. Besides, the hotel is situated in a perfect location, allowing us to have easy access to different picturesque spots. Highly recommended.

Casa Nannina is a gorgeous, new lovely apartment walking distance to the Sassi. The hosts are absolutely wonderful people that assisted us with so many things - finding a parking spot in the rain at night and giving us a fantastic restaurant recommendation that was still open when we arrived late. They also recommended other restaurants tours etc and was available our entire stay for questions through WhatsApp. I honestly wish we had more time to enjoy the apartment and Matera. We highly recommend this apartment - the hosts thought of everything you will need for a fabulous stay.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Angelo's Country House features accommodation with patio, around 40 km from Casa Grotta nei Sassi. Angelo was the perfect host, always on hand if you needed him. The small complex set in the countryside and offering peace and tranquility, contains 1 x 2 bedroom apartment and 1 x 1 bedroom apartment and our room which was described as a double room with garden views. Our double room turned out to be a massive one-room apartment with a new kitchen and dining area and a good size shower room. Outside the gardens are extensive and fully enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our dogs wandering off. Outdoor dining and seating areas under the shade of the Mulberry tree are on offer for all to use. Also in the enclosure were Gigi the dog, two donkeys, and a horse called Samantha. Chickens galore. It's almost a petting zoo so if you have small kids, they'll love it. It truly is one of the best places we've stayed. A unique experience. A big thank you to Angelo and his family.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a seasonal outdoor pool.... Amazing spot to relax, disconnect, enjoy nature, good food and incredible landscapes. The rooms are spacious and filled with comfort. The restaurant is outstanding in terms of price quality relation. The only minor defect is the pool that needs some maintenance. But with all the amazing beaches in the surroundings, no probs at all! Very friendly and professional owner. Staff super nice and helpful.

Located in Matera, near Matera Cathedral, MUSMA Museum and Casa Grotta nei Sassi, La Casa del Giglio features a shared lounge. Cinzia was an absolutely incredible host. She is super nice and gives you every information about the city you need. The Appartment itself left nothing to be desired and the kitchen is fully equipped. Would definitely recommend it.

300 metres from Palombaro Lungo, The View Matera is located in Matera and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The View is in a great location right on the edge of the new town and the Sassi. the view and patio were spectacular. The place was clean and comfortable.
