Beatrice and the team provide excellent service and helpful tips. She waited for us until 10pm for check-in. Room was very spacious, comfortable bed, large bottles of water and soda. Breakfast was rich with omlet, cherries, yogurt, granola, mozarella, home made jams and more. Location is some 15-20min from center of Matera, but close to the entrance to the belvedere ovelooking the city from the other bank (a must). Overall, short yet enjoyable stay.

The hosts are absolutely wonderful people that assisted us with so many things - finding a parking spot in the rain at night and giving us a fantastic restaurant recommendation that was still open when we arrived late. They also recommended other restaurants tours etc and was available our entire stay for questions through WhatsApp. I honestly wish we had more time to enjoy the apartment and Matera. We highly recommend this apartment - the hosts thought of everything you will need for a fabulous stay.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Angelo's Country House features accommodation with patio, around 40 km from Casa Grotta nei Sassi. Everything was great. The hosts are lovely and very nice. The apartment is cozy, clean, with a lot of light, the garden is beautiful with a lot of animals. We felt at home there. Our kids adored the place. We will return for sure.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a seasonal outdoor pool.... Amazing spot to relax, disconnect, enjoy nature, good food and incredible landscapes. The rooms are spacious and filled with comfort. The restaurant is outstanding in terms of price quality relation. The only minor defect is the pool that needs some maintenance. But with all the amazing beaches in the surroundings, no probs at all! Very friendly and professional owner. Staff super nice and helpful.

300 metres from Palombaro Lungo, The View Matera is located in Matera and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Location was phenomenal, very easy locate from the train station, you can get a taxi the place from the train station but I opted to walk to see beautiful things. A short walk anyway for me.
