The owners clearly care a lot about the place and their guests! The amount of small little details that we loved is too many to mention individually, but everything looked like it was done with intention, from the kitchenware to the bathroom supplies to even the coat hangers. The fireplace was an absolutely amazing little add-on, which one doesn’t often get, and which made it even cozier and homey-er. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked great, the beds were comfortable and warm. The place in itself is easy to find with the descriptions, and close enough to the next town to quickly get some essentials if needed, while also far enough away to feel cosy and calm. We had a brief chat with one of the owners when we arrived, who was super nice and told us a little bit about the house and the area in general. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Excelente ubicación al lado de una gran montaña, los propietarios viven en una casa al lado, decoración típica islandesa con aves disecadas, te tienen listo el jacuzzi cuando llegas y no pagas mes por ello, hay un glaciar a 6 km en carro con hielos azules flotantes. Muy limpio y agradable.

The host was extremely sweet, go in touch with us prompty before check in to share all the information. Also met us at check out to give a box of chocolates. Really enjoyed our stay

La Botnahlid Villa ofrece vistas a la montaña y alojamiento con jardín y balcón a unos 4,1 km de Gufufoss. El alojamiento cuenta con restaurante, estacionamiento privado gratuito y wifi gratis. It's a very comfortable and beautiful place. There's all of the amenities we can possibly need. The host was a delight as well, very nice, helpful and comprehensive. Heated floor in the main entrance, café machines and drying and washing machines also available. It was a really a modern house with a comfy outlook. Comfortable beds and big nice dining table. We loved it.
