This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.

Also booked 3 day trek with them which was incredible, saw lots of orangutan’s, but the whole team made it so special. Guides Helmy (Mowgli) and Dean and chef Anto (great food) were so welcoming, friendly, polite, very funny and amazing guides. Made the trip brilliant. Dedycool the host was super!

Menawarkan tempat percutian yang damai di tengah-tengah kehijauan alam semula jadi, Horas Family Home terletak di kawasan Tuk Tuk di Pulau Samosir. Everything, starting from the friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel with many facilities and activities for the guests. We lived in a wonderful apartment: clean, well furnished, ample and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen facilities that were available and exploited instead the very attractive and satisfactory meal options provided by the structure itself. In a word, we have been coddled for the whole length of our stay. Should we come back to lake Toba (which we hope) this will be the first address to look for.
