From Sam’s welcome until the time I left, I felt comfortable and at ease. Sam has created an ambience to be envied, and ensured the room was warm and welcoming on a cold windy night. Providing a broad selection of cereals, fruit, etc for breakfast, the tea blend is spot-on.....and properly made in a decent teapot with proper milk...absolute bonus!! I am working on returning for a few more days as soon as I can.

It’s cozy and calm, dog friendly, clean and a wonderful garden. Beds were very comfortable too. We will definitely return!

A great week-end drinking, eating and chilling. Very attentive staff. Nice selection of meals offered. We loved the shepherd's hut and it was in our own secluded spot. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit watching the stars after dark. Our dog also enjoyed himself. Such a dog-friendly place.

We enjoyed the comfort of Barton Cottage and the nice part was we had our own space. We'll organised. Comfortable.. Abi and Bridgette looked after us well and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cooked breakfast. There was outside space to sit in.
